Celebration Cakes
Drip cakes, doll cakes, birthday cakes and the odd chocolate tower — the ones made for a party.

Cakes, cookies & more — baked at home
Everything here came out of one small oven.
A photo journal of home baking — layer cakes, brioche, brownies, and the occasional beautiful mess.
About Lazy Baker
Lazy Baker started as a weekend habit and turned into a small archive of everything that has come out of our home oven — from wobbly first cupcakes to towering drip cakes. No commercial kitchen, no fancy tools: just butter, patience, and a lot of tasting.
The collections
Rather than one post per bake, the photos live together in collections — so you can wander through all the cakes, or all the breads, in one go.
Drip cakes, doll cakes, birthday cakes and the odd chocolate tower — the ones made for a party.
Christmas wreaths, rose swirls, red velvet by the tray — small cakes, big fuss.
Fudgy brownies, checkerboard cookies, blondies and chocolate macarons — the tin-fillers.
Brioche, milk bread, cinnamon rolls, croissants and donuts — the slow, yeasty ones.
Banana walnut, marble, date and caramel loaves — the everyday cakes for tea.
Molten chocolate domes, lava cakes, and a very thick chocolate milkshake.

The philosophy
Most of what you see here is made with wholewheat flour and jaggery where it can be — because a treat should still feel good the next morning.
